VERDICT: Ivane has clearly benefited from a switch to James Owen and built on his second here by going one better at Southwell. The return to fences is unlikely to pose any concerns in his current vein of form, although recent course winner Fine Investment might have his measure. The drop back in trip is unlikely to be an inconvenience, having travelled strongly on that occasion, and a 3lb rise seems more than fair. Extraordinary Man is entitled to be in the mix judged on his recent third at Southwell.
