VERDICT: Dan Skelton trained last year's winner and Nurse Susan is anticipated to make a bold bid in a competitive renewal. The eight-year-old was still in contention approaching the last in the Martin Pipe before fading in the closing stages. She ran a fine race considering that was her first start for over a year and should be spot-on for this. Jockey bookings suggest last month's Uttoxeter winner Red Risk is preferred to Irish Hill of the Paul Nicholls runners, while The Four Sixes makes most appeal of Olly Murphy's contingent after scoring in good style at Bangor.
