VERDICT: Lario has taken the silver medal home on each of his last two starts, most recently at Newbury, and competes off an unchanged mark. The six-year-old has cheekpieces applied for the first time and ought to go close, but Kingston James gets the vote. Lucinda Russell's charge struck by three lengths in a warm event at Musselburgh and, although 9lb higher, a repeat of that performance can help him record a second Ayr success. Inappropriate is another to note.
