VERDICT: Papabella made good strides on turf last season and resumes off a workable mark. However, there is a slight query about her record when fresh and others could take advantage of any rustiness, with the low-mileage Rift Valley suggested as the first one to consider. The James Fanshawe-trained filly was a respectable fourth, despite the jockey dropping the reins, in a Newcastle maiden last month and could be a different proposition debuting in a handicap with her match-fitness topped up. Four Adaay and Kensington Agent are other solid contenders.
