VERDICT: Partisan Hero won over a mile at Kempton in February and looks set for a bold double bid, but a 3lb higher mark may just catch him out now back on turf and preference is for Shaladar. A neck second off 2lb higher over 1m at Ascot in September, Kevin Ryan's gelding has slipped to a handy mark and he could capitalise if ready to roll on his seasonal debut.
