However, it has been a relatively quiet spell for the yard and the betting market should be helpful here. Even so, this could go to the less exposed Venture Capital, whose three-year-old season was full of promise. Kevin Ryan's progressive gelding could be hard to beat if picking up where left off in October. Previous C&D winners Ventura Express and Dream Composer are others solid contenders.
