VERDICT: New Invention ran promisingly when introduced in a Newcastle maiden in February and is one to keep an eye on in the betting. Similar comments apply to point-to-point winner Theatre Light, who makes her Rules debut at a realistic level and could have a big say if she adapts to hurdles. Nevertheless, this is probably best left to Cahier's Den, who has filled the runner-up spot in deeper races on his last two starts and has a big chance of going one better this time.
