VERDICT: Strategic Fortune had to be switched for a clear run in the closing stages here last month. The winner had already flown, but Tony Carroll's charge ran on well for second and is taken to confirm superiority with The Pug, who showed signs of a resurgence back in third. Cryptos Dream scored off a similar mark over course and distance in November and a recent placed effort at Chelmsford suggests she can make her presence felt.
