VERDICT: Last Shamardal is likely to prove competitive now handicapping for the first time. Jack Channon's charge produced a strong finish to win a maiden over 6f at Newcastle last month and is expected to thrive over this extra distance. Invincible Melody has been thereabouts in both starts in handicaps and it could be a similar story here, while Moby Quick shaped well when second at Newcastle and can make his presence felt.
