VERDICT: Jaguar Du Berlais (3) has been off the track since last August, but his fourth-place finish in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil two starts ago suggests he has the class to be competitive here. Jeune Soldat (4) has had just two runs since winning a handicap hurdle at Auteuil in 2023 but should be fit and ready. I Am Sovereign (7) only raced once last year but has plenty of ability and cannot be ignored. Hiso (5) has also been absent since 2023 but looks the best of the remainder.
