VERDICT: Sprint specialist Cuban Grey won on his first start in 220 days at Dundalk in January and should again compete, as he reverts to turf. Two of his four wins have come on turf and while raised to a rating of 68 today, he had been progressing very well last summer and, notably, was placed off a mark of 70 in 2023. The Poacher Daly won a course-and-distance maiden last October and while well held in a subsequent handicap, returns following a break and for a new yard. Distillate is another C&D winner but was well held on her recent reappearance.
