VERDICT: Chester Nimitz was placed on both outings last autumn including when caught close home at Navan and again shaped well when fourth to Glen To Glen on his reappearance in a Curragh maiden that has been working out well since. The selection has yet to race beyond 6f but has every chance of getting the trip at this track. Jorge Alvares has a similar profile having been placed a number of times over 6f for Kevin Ryan last year and probably rates the chief threat. Brosna Green and Lady Lilac both indicated ability in two outings at Dundalk and now switch to the turf for the first time.
