VERDICT: Dermot Weld saddled a double at Leopardstown on Sunday and could have the answer here with Wild Sapphire. The son of No Nay Never kept good company on both outings in 7f maidens last autumn and finished strongly when a close third to Expanded at the Curragh. Broadstone showed promise on his only start in a Curragh maiden that has worked out quite well, while Gran Habano has plenty of experience and was placed a couple of times at Dundalk over the winter. Any market moves for newcomers Standard Deviation (by Invincible Spirit) or The Liffey Swim, who cost 110,000 pounds at a Breeze Up sale last spring, would be significant.
