VERDICT: A comfortable winner over C&D on his penultimate start before going on to score at Lingfield since, First Greyed looks well capable of landing the hat-trick off 3lb higher, with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle. Venetian deservedly got back to winning ways with a smooth display over further here last month and he must enter calculations, along with recent C&D winner Flatley, who has been raised 3lb since.
