VERDICT: Nobleman failed to catch the winner by only a nose at Kempton last month. Andrew Balding's charge has improved with every start and is likely to prove a warm order with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins. King Kernow found only one too good on heavy going over 1m2f last autumn and there looks more to come from him over this extra distance, while Doddington Guy is a son of Postponed and is worthy of a second glance on his racecourse debut.
