VERDICT: Gimmie's Countess has strong Western Cape form. She has been plagued by wide draws but now has the best of the draws and should have every chance. But Highveld based filly Green Sapphire brings solid form from her region and is bred to relish the extra distance. It doesn't end there. Warrior Royale showed good resolve to win a handicap and looks to be getting better as she matures. Regeneration is unbeaten in two starts at this course. She looks to have needed her last start. Jeanne Darc is no slouches either.
