VERDICT: Aidan O'Brien has won this handicap four times in the past eight years and Serious Contender may prove the pick of his trio. The selection was prominent throughout on all three outings last year, including when successful here over a mile, and is bred to appreciate this step up in trip. Galveston made all to land a mile maiden at Naas, with Mocking not enjoying a clear run behind in fifth, and is another to consider along with Glen To Glen, who made a winning reappearance over 6f at the Curragh a fortnight ago. Dahlia Noir kept good company last year and is also noted.
