VERDICT: This is wide open and only a tentative vote can go to Havana Prince. The gelded son of Havana Grey was progressive on the turf last season, winning three times, and was perhaps in need of the outing at Newcastle recently. Hartswood has been in good form on the all-weather over the winter months and the previous C&D winner warrants plenty of respect. Others to note include Rising Force, Zous Juice and Calanthe.
