VERDICT: Top-rated Royal Victory is a dual course-and-distance Grade 1 winner. He sets a good standard but hasn't won since landing this prize last year. Purple Pitcher won the SA Derby on the same day 12 months ago and will line up in good form and physical condition. Fire Attack was last season's Champion 2YO Colt on the Highveld and has maintained a high level of form this term, albeit without winning.
