VERDICT: Espoir Avenir (3) made an eye-catching debut when winning over the 2200m. Stepping to the 2400m will be no issue for him and could find himself making another winning stance. Surabad (2) ran an impressive third in Class 2 company in his post Maiden effort and it won't be a surprise if he adds to his winning tally in this field. Ponderado (4) deserves respect for the Group III effort in his last start and although returning off a six month break, he must be given serious consideration. Synergetic (1) produced a good winning debut and will have the urge to be major competitive here.
