VERDICT: Cavallo Bay spent the latter part of 2024 in the US producing a string of consistent displays and the son of Pinatubo may prove a tough nut to crack if replicating any of those Graded performances. Soft ground probably didn't help Hawksbill in the Royal Lodge and Hugo Palmer's colt could easily get back on track on his all-weather debut. Glittering Legend showed a good attitude to score at Doncaster in October and is open to taking another step forward.
