VERDICT: Mashaan seems best when racing on the front end and is handily drawn to launch a bold attempt at following up Monday's win over 7f in a handicap at Lingfield. Dropping back down a furlong isn't a major worry for the Alice Haynes-trained seven-year-old, although the likes of Lion's Dream and Nordic Glory are likely types to capitalise if the shorter trip does catch him out.
