VERDICT: Jim De Sarti hit the woodwork at Sedgefield in January before unseating early on at Huntingdon last month. There should be more to come from Tom Lacey's unexposed hurdler and, if able to put in an unblemished round of jumping, he ought to go very close. Zucayan has been knocking at the door recently and is unlikely to be far away, while John Betjeman is also noted.
