VERDICT: Good N' Kind hasn't run for 379 days but had plenty ability in 2023/24 and should be ready for today's reappearance. An impressive point-to-point winner, he subsequently ran well in a heavy-ground Gowran bumper when finishing well clear of the other beaten horses. The winner of that race Port Joulain has recently scored over hurdles when, in turn, defeated today's runner Champagne Kid by 31 lengths in January. Admittedly Champagne Kid is better judged on more recent efforts but is nonetheless vulnerable to smart types. Dr Eggman holds Champagne Kid by a half-length on February form although he too is vulnerable to a promising prospect.
