VERDICT: Classy stayer Shoot The Rapids was unlucky not to bag one of the big stayers' races last season. He makes his return and may find it short but has top rider Gavin Lerena up and could be the one watch after gelding. Broadway Girl turned in a solid winning performance the last time she raced at this course. She has fitness on her side and should make a race of it. Capsaicin is the unknown entity over the extra. The strong frontrunner is hard to peg back over shorter but may get an uncontested lead and keep going. The Mikado and Kaygee's Delight are both capable of better.
