VERDICT: Sceptic made his second start for the Ian Williams yard a successful one over track and trip last time and he holds an obvious chance off a 2lb higher mark. However, it may pay to side with Prince Ali, who accounted for Golspie over C&D recently and is well drawn in stall two. The seven-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to strike again. Last-time-out Newcastle scorer It's A Love Thing is another to note.
