VERDICT: Red Countess (2) is holding steady form and continues to threaten for that next victory which appears to be around the corner. Makeno (5) was a winner two starts back here and despite finishing a comfortable 3rd last time out, he could certainly return to winning ways. Crocus Borget (10) has been a fairly consistent performer for connections but winning does come at a premium for him and he looks set to earn a minor position. Terre Sacree (9) has produced some solid efforts but hasn't been the most reliable sort. On best form, she could threaten.
