VERDICT: Good race. Tenango continues to go from strength to strength and a 6-point penalty for his last-start success over 1200m isn't likely to prevent another bold showing in his hat-trick bid. Fellow last-start scorer Un Bel Di fits a similar profile but will find life at this level more demanding. Recently gelded runners Teflon Man and Lion Rampart are open to improvement having been 'cut,' especially the 3yo latter whose form and consistency at this level will stand him in good stead. Best-weighted stable companion Seeking The Stars and above-average speedster Future Variety aren't discounted.
