VERDICT: Punk Poet has dropped down to an attractive mark and gave encouragement over 7f here last month that he can add to five C&D wins. The Eddie Lynam-trained gelding was never a threat on that latest start but did put in some good work at the finish to be placed and will appreciate the step back up to a mile. Daonethatgotaway is on a hat-trick after two wins here over a mile and remains in this grade despite a combined rise of 11lb for those victories, while Pink Oxalis, Altimara and Rockbury Lad are others to consider. The latter always comes from off the pace and went close on his penultimate start over a mile.
