VERDICT: Hawai River (13) may not always be the easiest of horses to manage but she put on a fine show in Paris mid-February, should take well to the Laval profile, and looks a marginally better choice than Hotkatissime (11) who has been acquitting himself well lately. The recently victorious Heracles Du Layon (5) is 25m better off and although yet to make his mark here, still looks competitively well-in. Hazoe Des Glenan (4) was unlucky at Caen last time out and Flavien Poisson will be intent on putting things right.
