VERDICT: Aversa (14) bounced back to form in a similar contest at Cagnes sur Mer last month after a serious drop in the handicap. She can go one better and looks a serious winning proposition. Front runner Lanaken (5) always fares well fresh and is on a workable mark so should be kept high on the shortlist. Tumbler (2) is ideally drawn in stall one and can defy the seven pounds penalty after a solid win last time out. Lanzelot Gold (3) is currently as good as he has ever been and can be involved once again. American Flag (4) is also worth a good look in.
