VERDICT: Meetmebythesea readily fits the profile to be a major player here. Unbeaten in three starts in this discipline, the JP McManus-owned gelding showed versatility in registering those victories and he could be tough to overhaul stepping up in trip with ground conditions ideal. Belliano and The Kemble Brewery are other progressive types to seriously consider, although the selection's stable companion, It's Hard To Know, is dangerous to underestimate with the yard bidding for back-to-back wins in this race.
