VERDICT: There are some interesting newcomers to monitor in the betting, with the likes of Je Mr Dawson, Wanderinginthedark and point-to-point second The Hatchet all noted as potentially decent prospects. However, the experience held by Geordie Mackem could prove vital and the Brian Ellison-trained five-year-old tops the shortlist after two promising placed efforts at Wetherby and Newcastle. Daly Boy was second on his only point-to-point start and could be the biggest danger.
