ANALYSIS: In rear, not fluent 2nd, closer on outer home turn, slightly hampered and went 3rd after 2 out, ridden and ran on run-in, not quite pace to challenge

    1 3/4 L
ANALYSIS: Chased leaders, lost position 3 out, ridden and weakened before last
  • 6th
    4
    Ross Chapman

    Age 7 TT

    1 1/2 L
ANALYSIS: Towards rear, headway home turn, took 3rd before 2 out where bad mistake and blundered, not recover
  • 7th
    6
    Lee Edwards

    Age 7 BLK TT

    12 L
ANALYSIS: Handy, pushed along and dropped away tamely before 2 out
VERDICT: Collingham has the ability to go well in a race of this nature but his lack of a recent run just gives the edge to Honneur D'Ajonc. James Owen's gelding was a well-held third in handicap company last time, but the drop in grade and application of a visor could see a much-improved effort here. Matchless is another who makes the shortlist.
