ANALYSIS: Well outpaced in rear, tailed off and pulled up after 4th
VERDICT: Jack Hyde has shown plenty of promise in two hurdles starts to date and this appears to be an ideal opportunity for the seven-year-old to get off the mark over timber. Cobbler's Boy disappointed on his Rules debut but it is far too soon to be writing him off, while any market support for Syllabus or Surrey Lord would have to be noted.
