VERDICT: We Got Your Back had been a revelation when dropped to the minimum distance with a brace of victories at Leicester and Catterick before the wheels fell off back at 2m4f when returning to the former venue. Laura Morgan's gelding deserves another chance to get his head back in front, despite being 6lb higher than his most recent success. Sangiovese won on handicap debut over hurdles here and is a fascinating contender now switched to fences. Others to note are Harel Du Marais and Extraordinary Man.
