VERDICT: Punters will need to be in a forgiving mood to side with Pep Talking, but it might pay to do so. He impressed when scoring comfortably over 2m5f at Sedgefield in November and, with his stamina drawn out further, he can bounce back from a lacklustre effort at Warwick. Groom De Cotte shaped with plenty of credit when finishing a staying-on second (hurdles) over 2m6f at Fontwell last time out and, stepping up in trip reverting to the larger obstacles, he looks the main danger. Dreamsundermyfeet can also go well.
