VERDICT: Asgard's Captain won this race off a mark of 73 last year and has prospered nicely ever since. A current rating of 84 obviously demands more of the five-year-old but his proven willingness is a key asset that lends itself well to the demands of the stiff finish at this venue. Fellow C&D winer Midnight Lion has also been in good heart and appeals as the biggest danger off a workable mark. Yokohama is another with track and trip experience to consider.
