VERDICT: Imperial Emperor sets the standard following his second in the Al Maktoum Challenge here last time but stall 15 is far from ideal for the five-year-old. One who may be underestimated is Artorius, who may improve now stepped up in trip and his most recent efforts in the Al Maktoum Mile and Firebreak suggest that he can go well in a race of this nature. Guns And Glory bolted up in a much weaker race over 1m3f here last time and would be dangerous if allowed to dominate from a fair draw. King Gold beat the selection in the Firebreak but is unproven over this far and the pace meltdown that day massively helped him. Qareeb has a solid chance and is likely to be in the mix, while it is too soon to be writing off Kabirkhan.
