VERDICT: Codice (4) has been crying out for a rise in trip in her recent runs and just gets it here on her first attempt on the turf. She can score at the expense of Benamira (8), a debutant filly by Waldgeist owned by the Aga Khan Studs that is bred to stay all day. Marinaleda (9) comes from a yard that knows how to get newcomers ready and should be feared. Sandy Eagle (2) showed plenty of progress in her second career start and also has what it takes to win a race of the nature.
