VERDICT: Already three times a winner here this winter, Instant D'haufor (8) put in a fine finish to impose under these conditions earlier in the month. He may not be ideally-positioned this time either but David Thomain can still be confident of a big run. The better-placed Happy Du Bois (5) ran a close 2nd to him that day and should again finish in the thick of things, but may first have to see off Haute Cote De Nuit (7) who flew up over course and distance 3 weeks ago, and second-row starter Ninepoints Lasse (12) who thrives with Alexandre Abrivard.
