VERDICT: A drop in distance saw a much-improved performance from recent Sedgefield runner-up Beat The Edge and another bold bid is forecast. Micky Hammond's inmate only gave way in the closing stages over an extended 2m3f that day and this trip could really suit. Treaty Boy's stamina also appeared to ebb away when finishing sixth over an extended 2m4f at Newcastle latest and he isn't taken lightly racing off his last winning mark. Fearless Action is also noted.
