VERDICT: Trainer Jean-Luc Bigeon looks to have found a decent one in Lotus Madrik (5) who impressed on debut at Chartres in November. He returns from a break so his fitness needs to be taken on trust but he can double up. Lucky Carnois (10) fluffed his lines with a disqualification last time out and is not reliable but is an obvious danger. Liego Du Noyer (12) is hard to trust but can contest the finish when wise. Leo Jiel (6) is also far better than his last run would suggest.
