VERDICT: Imperial Saint has enjoyed an excellent start to his chasing career with three Aintree victories from five starts, and he wasn't beaten far in a warm Cheltenham handicap last time. He must be respected, but Rubaud just edges it as his close-up second to L'eau Du Sud in a Warwick Grade 2 a fortnight ago rates the better form. Irish raider Ashdale Bob can chase that pair home.
