VERDICT: King's Threshold regained the winning thread in class 4 company at Huntingdon last month and should mount a bold bid off 3lb higher, but this represents a step up in grade. With that in mind, Demnat gets the vote. Venetia Williams' eight-year-old made the frame in a deeper event at Newbury in November and he could take full advantage of an unchanged mark. Stormin Crossgales ran too badly to be true when pulled up at Doncaster last time and may bounce back to have a say.
