VERDICT: Bear Market was pulled up on his debut for Nicky Henderson here in December when clearly looking as though something was amiss. The six-year-old is worth another chance to leave that performance behind him, especially following wind surgery, but the vote goes to Disco Davis. Dan Skelton's gelding is beginning to get the hang of things over timber and his recent Lingfield victory gave the impression he has further improvement in the locker. Carismatic Soldier and Prophesea complete the shortlist.
