VERDICT: Sugar Road didn't appear to be in love with the heavy ground when fourth to a subsequent Listed winner at Hamilton in August. The runner-up also advertised the form by landing a valuable handicap next time and the son of Masar, who was gelded after that performance, is taken to come out on top. Java Raja benefited plenty from his first run when scoring at Wolverhampton in December and has to enter the reckoning, while Lingfield bumper winner Foxlight appears best of the remainder.
