VERDICT: Cowper Hall catches the eye here on his first start for Gavin Cromwell. The Affinisea gelding showed improvement when third on his handicap debut at Down Royal over Christmas and off the same mark of 88, there looks plenty to work with. Mighty Soldier was a staying-on third behind Bridie's Beau here last time and the winner has franked that form since, so he looks an obvious danger. Seskin Flash ran with credit when fourth at Cork back in December and is another to note on his first outing for Philip Dempsey.
