VERDICT: Mamdoh hasn't finished out of the top two since the application of cheekpieces two starts ago, when beating Sophosc into third and scoring by a length over C&D. The four-year-old was far from disgraced in second over an extended 2m at Southwell subsequently and could prove difficult to beat back at this venue. Two Plus Two beat Daaris (third) when successful over track and trip on his penultimate start and he can confirm that form to go close.
