VERDICT: Thunder N Lightnin has shown promise over hurdles, but chasing ought to be more his game and Harry Derham's gelding receives a tentative vote in what looks a moderate contest. Good Friday Fairy didn't see out an extended 2m7f at Lingfield last time but, with cheekpieces applied for the first time and dropped in trip, it would come as no surprise to see an improved performance. Bertie Wooster is another to consider.
